This specimen for the Bram De Does designed Trinité mixes an essay on the creation of the font with an article about the punk band The Ramones to make a point about how attempts to revive past forms or styles (Renaissance text faces in De Does’ case & 60s bubblegum pop in the Ramones’) can often lead to idiosyncratic new creations.
