“Indexhibit is a web application used to build and maintain an archetypal, invisible website format that combines text, image, movie and sound”.
“The following instructions serve as a basic introduction to composing and publishing with Indexhibit – visit the demo to create your first Exhibit.
Create a new page by clicking New (located top right)
Enter an Exhibition Name
Select a Section and Project Year
Click Add Exhibition
An exhibits edit page appears. This is where pages are composed.
Text: type in the text area, save text by clicking the floppy disc icon.
Image: upload images by Choosing Files from you computer, select an exhibition format, and image size
Sound & Movies (advanced users): upload using the files manager (folder icon above text box)
When you are ready to publish click On
To preview page click View Your Site, your page should now be listed within the index list, and will display in the exhibits area when clicked
Press the browsers back button to return to Indexhibit and Main to view the exhibit listed in the Index list
We suggest familiarising yourself by playing with the various tools and settings. The Demo is a live Indexhibit playground open for everyone to explore the programme. All content has been uploaded by visitors.
